Chilli's ideal home

Chilli is looking for a home where she is living with 2 or more adopters who are around most of the time so that she won't be left alone. Chilli would prefer to live in a quiet area as loud sudden noises can be a little scary for Chilli. She could live with children aged 10+ who are understanding of dogs. Chilli likes to go for walks, and has enjoyed days out with her foster carers so could join your family on these too. Chilli is perfectly house trained and has not had an accident in the home. Chilli has so much love to give, and forms bonds very quickly so we are looking for adopters who are understanding of Chilli's requirements.

Could you be Chilli's perfect match?

Chilli is a sweet, 7 year old cockapoo with a lot of love to give. She can be quite worried by things and looks for reassurance in the people she knows best but she is quite quick to make friends with new people, especially when treats are involved. She struggles being separated from her carers so would suit a household where there would be very minimal leaving and would be willing to work on training to build this up over time. She has previously lived with children but would need a sensible household who understand her worries about the world. She’s happy to join you on the sofa or in bed for a cuddle and likes to always be near people. She’s obsessed with playing fetch so if you have a tennis ball handy she’ll be your best friend. Chilli needs to be the only dog in the home as she can be cautious of other dogs, especially ones bigger than her. But after an appropriate introduction and greeting with similar sized dogs she has walked nicely with dogs here at the Newbury centre.
