Milo's ideal home

Milo is looking for a home with adopters who can work on building up his leaving hours over time as he settles. He can become upset when left so a home where his adopters will be around for the majority of the time would be ideal. Milo could live with another calm, older dog pending successful dog mixes here at the centre. He cannot live with cats or small furries. As he loves the garden so much, we are looking for a home with a private, secure garden for Milo. Milo is very friendly with new people so he could live with children aged 8+ who are calm and confident around dogs. This gentle boy really is a delight and is looking for a home to give him all the love and fuss he deserves!

Milo is a 7.5-year-old Cocker Spaniel x Poodle who is looking for a snuggly sofa to call his own. This sweet boy is very gentle and friendly with people and enjoys socialising with other dogs out and about on walks, although would much prefer calmer dogs than dogs that are very energetic! Cocker Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cocker Spaniel.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
