Winston's ideal home

Winston is on the search for his forever home with adopters who can be around for most of the day as he can find being left worrying. Winston needs regular grooming and would like to continue his weight loss programme with his adopters. He is an active boy who would adore going on long adventure with his favourite people. Winston would like to be the only dog in the home but could live with a cat (pending a scent swap),cats and small furries. He would like a garden to enjoy but this could be private or communal. Winston could like with primary school aged children in his home. Winston does have some medical considerations that will be discussed with our vet team upon a booking.

Could you be Winston's perfect match?

Wonderful Winston is a very happy and active boy. He loves exploring new places and going on adventures with his doggy friends and favourite humans. Winston is a big cuddle bug who adores seeking fuss when chilling out on the sofa. He hasn’t shown much interest in toys but we are hoping he finds the joy in them in the future. He has so much enthusiasm for life and will make a wonderful companion to his forever home.

Cocker Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cocker Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
