Description

Oscar's ideal home

Oscar is an energetic boy looking for an active home to help him channel his energy in a positive way. He is only young and can get over-aroused quite easily, which results in some mouthing behaviours. Therefore he’d love to find an adult-only home with owners who are willing to work on his training. Oscar gets frustrated very easily around other dogs so while he’d love to continue working on his polite socials he will need to be the only pet in the home.

Could you be Oscar's perfect match?

Oscar is a 1 yr old Spaniel/French Bulldog Cross and has all the energy and then some! He’s a real bundle of fun; he loves being around people and enjoys both snuggles and playtime. Ideally Oscar would like someone around most of the time as he isn’t keen on being left home alone. We’re not sure what he’s like travelling but he’s more than happy jumping in and out of a car so trips out are a possibility. As he’s still very young he’ll need a bit of a helping hand perfecting his housetraining, but he’s a clever boy so with his own secure garden and some tasty treats it shouldn’t take him long. For anyone looking for a dog that is full of beans Oscar might be your perfect match!

Cocker Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cocker Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
