Coco's ideal home

We are looking for a quieter home for Coco where she can be the only dog. She could live with children aged 13 or over, who can understand how she feels and know when and when not to interact with her. Coco would like a secure, private garden. Coco has shown some prey drive so needs to be the only pet in the home.. Coco could be left for a couple of hours once she has settled in, and has the potential for leaving hours to increase if time is built up slowly.

Coco is a sweet five-year-old Spaniel cross, whose favourite thing in life is to run around with a tennis ball! She does need a little time to warm up to new people, but once she knows you, she’ll be your best friend and would love to go on long sniffy adventures with you. Coco can be uncomfortable in certain situations or with some close handling and will need all members of her new family to understand and be sensitive towards this. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who would love a family she can snuggle up on the sofa with.

Cocker Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cocker Spaniel.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
