Billy's ideal home
Billy is an active nine-year-old chap who is guaranteed to make any Spaniel-lover swoon. His ideal home is with someone who has had some experience with owning Spaniels in the past, but this is not essential for the right home. Billy would like his new home to consist of adults only and he needs an enclosed garden where he can run and play securely. Billy can have calm dog friends out on walks but wouldn't want to share his home with other pets as he does guard high value resources, such as his food and toys. Billy was used to being left for half a working day previously and should be fine to have leaving hours introduced once he has settled in his new home. If you rent your property, please ensure you have written permission from your landlord before applying for a dog.

Billy is a friendly and fun boy who is guaranteed to keep you entertained! His absolutely favourite thing in the world is playing with toys, although the soft variety doesn't always last very long. His other love in life is doing what Spaniels do best - swimming and getting as muddy as possible! Billy has shown some resource guarding in the past, but as long as adopters make sure that toys are always swapped for something else, this is easily managed. Our training and behaviour team will be on hand to show adopters how to put this into practice. Billy can be strong on lead at times when he is excited to get to this favourite places or when he has caught the scent of something, so will need adopters who are confident with a strong dog. Billy is full of character and will make a wonderful addition to a family who can keep him entertained with all of his favourite activities.
