Introducing Alfie, the delightful five-year-old Cocker Spaniel who’s heart is as big as his bark. This charming canine is searching for a special adult-only home that can provide the care and attention he deserves. As an avid food lover, Alfie's heart is won through his stomach. He relishes food enrichment activities that challenge his mind and satisfy his taste buds. Alfie's friendly and sociable nature shines through as he adores the company of other similar size or smaller dogs. Playdates and doggy interactions bring him immense joy, and he may be able to live in a home with another dog to keep him company. Alfie has some medical needs, which could lead to additional costs. We will discuss this further if your application is shortlisted.

With plenty of energy to spare, Alfie is always up for an adventure. Whether it's going on long walks, exploring new places, or engaging in interactive play, he will be your enthusiastic partner in crime. Busy areas can sometimes overwhelm him, so a peaceful neighborhood or countryside setting would be an ideal match for him to feel at ease as Alfie's sensitivity to noise means he appreciates a calm and serene environment. Currently, Alfie is receiving assistance with his behavior around doorways, where he has displayed some signs of frustration and anxiety. Alfie also loves the sound of his own voice, he’s a vocal dog in general but we’re using plenty of enrichment and mental stimulation to help combat this in kennels. With patient and understanding owners, he can overcome these challenges and grow in confidence. Our training team will be on hand to support Alfie’s new family with this before and after Alfie goes home. A home with a consistent routine and minimal leaving times are also essential for Alfie, as he experiences some separation anxiety but Alfie's love for car rides makes him the perfect road trip buddy. He'll happily accompany you on any adventure, always excited to explore new places and create wonderful memories together.
